Accelerating Africa’s Circular Economy: Highlights from the South Africa Circular Economy Hotspot 2024
What an incredible two days at the South Africa Circular Economy Hotspot 2024 (SACEH24)! This inspiring event, held at the Hasso Plattner d-school Afrika at the University of Cape Town, was a gathering of over 250 passionate innovators, policymakers, and sustainability champions, all working together to drive real change in Africa’s circular economy.
As TheRockGroup, we were proud to co-organize this event alongside Sustainable Inclusive Business and the African Circular Economy Network (ACEN). Bringing our expertise in circular economy strategies, we see Africa’s transition to circularity as essential not only for sustainability but for resilient growth. We aimed to foster impactful connections and hands-on learning, in line with our commitment to sustainable business practices on a global scale.
