Our Sustainability Managers Webinar series continues! As always, we are happy to facilitate discussions and provide a platform for knowledge and experience sharing. The eleventh webinar of this series will be about behavior change for sustainability. The webinar will take place on the 31th of October 2023, so make sure to save the date!
The sustainability transition requires behavior change. A lot of it. We need to start making different decisions, start thinking differently, and sometimes even taking the high road and making difficult decisions for the future. Not easy to manage as a sustainability manager. How can you get your clients, management or the employees of your organization on board?
Recent developments in behavioral economics and psychology show that very small changes in people’s environment can make a very big difference in how people behave. From what we offer on which shelve in the canteen to how we present numbers to the board, many small changes create a big influence. In this webinar, we discuss the latest insights and tools developed in research to help people make better choices for the environment, inside and outside your organization. We discuss some inspirational tools and examples such as so-called Nudges and Boosts to invoke behavior change, some scientific background about the (ir)rationality of people’s decision-making and behavior, and discuss how you can start experimenting in your organization as well.

To ensure that our sessions lead to fruitful discussions among like-minded professionals, we will:
- Admit a maximum of 20 sustainability managers per webinar
- Welcome sustainability managers from various countries, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Kenya, and South Africa
