Joris has a background in economics, with a focus on the environment. After finishing his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Economics, he obtained a master degree in Industrial Dynamics and Strategy at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam and a master degree in Environment and Resource Management at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. During his masters, he researched the effects of eco-labels on consumer behaviour. Additionally, he investigated the sustainability of sugar production in India and the Netherlands. As a consultant at TheRockGroup he continues to combine his knowledge of economics and sustainability, aiming to provide practical solutions that work for both business and the environment.
