HEMA - Sustainability Secondment
Hema, being the best known variety store chain in the Netherlands, has a role to play in sustainability. Therefore, when one of their sustainability professionals went on maternity leave they hired a TheRockGroup colleague as temporary replacement. The colleague was embedded in their team for the 5 month duration of the maternity leave to ensure all sustainability related activities continued as planned.
Context
Hema is an iconic company where people and households in the Netherlands (and abroad) have been purchasing their household necessities for decades. Hema has been working on sustainability for several years to assess and improve its wide product range.
Our Work
TheRockGroup worked with the Hema by seconding one of its sustainability experts to the Hema to offer daily in house support for several months.
