Webinar #1. Embedding & Integrating Sustainability

 

On the 22nd of March, we will host the first of our six-part webinar series, specially developed for sustainability managers. The series will kick off with a topic that is relevant to all organizations: Embedding & Integrating Sustainability in all Processes. During this one-hour session, we aim to empower sustainability managers from all over the world to change the ‘business as usual’ mentality within their organizations.

If we want to move towards a more sustainable future collectively, in which we make responsible use of materials and resources, make renewable energy our standard, and implement regenerative business models, we have to turn the business as usual mentality around. As Greta Thunberg phrased it: “We can’t save the world by playing by the rules, because the rules have to be changed. Everything needs to change – and it has to start today!”.

For organizations, this will require positive change. To go from strategy to implementation, sustainability needs to be embedded into all processes. Put differently, the key to making businesses more sustainable is making sustainability everyone’s business.

So, how can you integrate sustainability into HR, sales, finance, or procurement processes? How can you empower your colleagues to become sustainability change agents? In the upcoming webinar Embedding & Integrating Sustainability in all Processes, we will bring sustainability managers together in an interactive learning environment to find answers to these questions. Note that access to our webinars is free but exclusively for sustainability managers. 

 

 

Practicalities

 

Each of our webinars is be hosted online and has a mix of ingredients. We will take a hands-on approach to:

• Assess your organization’s status and progress regarding sustainability
• Discuss knowledge and tools that can help you embed sustainability across all business processes
• Exchange experiences and best practices

To ensure that our sessions lead to fruitful discussions among like-minded professionals, we will:

• Admit a maximum of 20 sustainability managers per webinar
• Welcome sustainability managers from various countries, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Kenya, and South Africa
