The role

In our growing company, we are looking for a new colleague who wants to contribute to further developing our organization. You will play a key role in our organization in external work including project management, acquisition, account management. You will contribute to our education practices. What you bring

  • Strong sustainability consultancy skills: >5 years of experience in sustainability consultancy including acquisition and project management experience. Preferably obtained while working in an established sustainability consultancy.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: and preferably experience. At minimum several years of experience in operating in a small (>5 fte) enterprise.
  • Creative and open thinker: You have ideas, natural curiosity and are capable of filtering through all your thoughts and turning them into something of value. You are able to excel in open and dynamic environments and enjoy taking initiative.
  • Communication skills: You are a team player and know how to communicate and work together with colleagues and clients. You enjoy guiding your colleagues and others in developing their own skills and knowledge.

Start the branch with a strategic business developer (and coms manager) who will work closely with the project officer (building capacity to become the strategic business developer). The strategic business developer will focus on building partnerships, developing strategy and define direction for concept, project and proposals. The project officer will match the strategy with developing the concepts and proposals both for funding as well as consultancies. We will expand the team depending of the type of our work with a marketing & communication officer and other teammembers. You will be part of a ‘global team’ with colleagues in Europe.

 

What you bring as a PROJECT OFFICER

The project officer will identify and create project proposals, runs the overall planning of projects, runs the daily activities around them; from communication with project partners, suppliers, invoicing, reporting and to increase potential projects through existing. Scaling, promoting projects would be part and parcel of a strategic hands-on structural thinker and do-er. The project officer contributes to the sustainability of TheRockGroup by running and developing projects and paid assignments.

 

What you will be ‘doing’

  • Set strategic goals and realistic targets together with the strategic business developer to achieve set outcomes.
  • Co-creates project proposals proactively and reactively in collaboration with the strategic business developer.
  • Identifies potential projects and will closely align and develop work to TRG Global.
  • Creating project structure, hour sheets, budget formats, reporting formats in line with TheRockGroups’standards. In charge of coordinating workshops, seminars and other events on issues connected to the program/project areas of activity;
  • Responsible for maintenance of a good flow of communication and information between TheRockGroup partner institutions.
  • Responsible for the detailed input (from projects) for annual reports and budgets.
  • Responsible for setting and implementing the work plan aspects of projects (and beyond) and set realistic timeframes for the targets.
  • In charge of projects and paid work.
  • Responsible for liaison with partners to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives.
  • Lead the team on weekly/monthly meetings for planning and reporting, to look at challenges and solutions for sustainable growth.
  • Improve processes and policies in support of TheRockGroupGlobal. Implement the policies and procedures to maximize output. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures.
